Smooth braking capability

Continual software upgrades have been included in the Tow-Pro Elite, which results in smoother braking for motorists towing the broadest range of caravans, trailers, boat trailers and horse floats.

Compatible with all modern and older vehicles

When used with the recommended REDARC wiring kits, the Tow-Pro Elite ensures compatibility with all new vehicle technology and features Active Calibration. It works in 12V vehicles with Electric or Electric/Hydraulic trailer brakes and in 24V vehicles with electric brakes without additional adaptors.

Electric/Hydraulic brakes behind 24V vehicles require the EB24A adaptor. When installed as per instructions, It ensures an ADR-approved installation. AL-KO has also approved it for use with their ESC and by Dexter with their DSC systems.

An easy to install Brake Controller

The Redarc Tow Pro Elite V3 features a reduction in the size and installation of the user interface (remote head). Changing the shape, length, size and depth of the remote head will allow a quicker and easier installation of the Redarc Tow Pro Elite. It also ensures the remote head fits into thicker and curved dashes in modern vehicles and trucks.

Vehicle-specific installation accessories

The Redarc Tow Pro Elite uses the recommended wiring kits to work with all modern vehicles. Selected TPSI switch inserts for many popular cars make for a very neat, quick installation, giving the user interface a “factory” look (a single control knob).

REDARC’s range of vehicle-specific wiring kits offers quick and easy installation into various vehicle makes and models, including the TPWKIT-012 specifically required for the Ford Ranger/Everest range and the universal TPWKIT-013 and TPWKIT-014 wiring kits, suitable for most other cars.

For the installer who prefers to use their wires, we strongly recommend including the EPDK-001 protection device blocking module for any modern vehicle with CAN Bus communications or cruise control.
